This policy explains how Qurm Home Maintenance Platform handles personal data and the rights and responsibilities of the platform, technicians, and beneficiaries. By using the platform you agree to this policy.

1. Scope and parties

This policy applies to all visitors, beneficiaries (those who request services), and technicians (service providers). Qurm Home Maintenance Platform is the operator and owner of the platform and is responsible for processing data within the scope described here.

2. Data we collect

From beneficiaries: name, mobile number, email, and address or location when requesting a service. From technicians: name, mobile number, email, service and category details, and any information provided in their professional profile. We also record IP address and access dates at registration and when using the service for security and operation purposes.

3. Use of data

We use data to operate the platform, complete bookings, connect the beneficiary with the relevant technician only, improve the service, and comply with the law. We do not use your data for marketing outside the service without your consent.

4. Sharing data

We do not sell any party’s data to third parties. We share with the technician assigned to the request only: the beneficiary’s name, mobile number, and service address to facilitate contact and delivery. We share with the beneficiary: the technician’s name and mobile number after the request is confirmed. Qurm Home Maintenance Platform retains the right to access data necessary to run the platform, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.

5. Data storage and retention

We retain data for as long as the account exists and is active. After an account deletion request we remove personal data within a reasonable period, and may keep anonymised or aggregated data for statistical or legal purposes as required by law.

6. Data protection

Passwords are stored in encrypted form. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to secure data and prevent unauthorised access. Any breach will be reported where required by law.

7. Rights of Qurm Platform

Qurm Home Maintenance Platform owns the platform, its technical content, and brand. It has the right to manage the platform, modify or suspend the service or accounts in case of violation, use anonymised data for statistics and improvement, and retain records required by law. It is not liable for the conduct of beneficiaries or technicians outside the platform, and does not guarantee the outcome of services provided by technicians.

8. Rights of the technician

The technician’s personal data and professional profile are processed in confidence and are not sold to third parties. Their name and mobile number are shared with the beneficiary only after the request is confirmed and for the purpose of providing the service. The technician has the right to request correction or deletion of their data and to object to use for purposes not set out here. The platform is not liable for the technician’s financial or contractual obligations to the beneficiary except as set out in the terms and conditions.

9. Rights of the beneficiary

The beneficiary has the right to know what data we collect about them and to request correction or deletion via their profile or by contacting us. Their name and mobile number are shared only with the technician assigned to their request. They may withdraw consent to processing within the limits of the law, though this may limit the ability to provide the service.

10. Changes to this policy

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy. Material changes will be published on this page with the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the platform after publication is taken as acceptance of the changes unless the law provides otherwise.
